SMX is seeking a Russian Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support USAREUR-AF G2 Executive Office by providing intelligence support to mission command and subordinate assigned regional aligned and rotational units in Europe and Africa.
The Ideal candidate will provide direct Russian military organizational design, composition, disposition, key leaders, historical activities, and trends to the USAREUR-AF G2 Executive Office. This will include the European theater at Corps and above and US Intelligence Community (IC) and USAREUR-AF AOR host nation intelligence communities.
This is a proposal position contingent on contract award.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Review US IC products associated with Russian military activities and military publications to provide feedback to the USAREUR-AF ACE, G2, and CG
Review USAREUR-AF operational plans to ensure pacing threat assessments regarding Russian military capabilities, organization, and scheme of maneuver remain consistent with historical deployments and force modernization efforts
Provide monthly special assessments to the Commanding General and USAREUR-AF G2 informed by US IC Russian experts and USAREUR-AF AOR host nation intelligence community assessments
Support Commanding General and USAREUR-AF G2 requests for special assessments in support of Command or Intelligence requirements / strategy Provide assessments and briefing in support of conferences, distinguished visitors, and USAREUR-AF operations plans and strategy design efforts
Required Skills & Experience
Required Clearance: TS/SCI
Must have three years experience managing complex projects
Master’s Degree in a related field and 3 years of specialized intelligence experience: OR Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 6 years of specialized intelligence experience: OR 10 years of specialized intelligence experience
Thorough understanding of the intelligence cycle and architecture, including planning, collection, research, analysis, and production
Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing
Strong working knowledge of all Microsoft applications (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access), and must be able to work as a member of a team
